The Alternative Gallery's Retro Arcade is returning to the Bethlehem Area Public Library!
On April 6, 2024 the event returns with a range of classic consoles, homebrew & indie games, hacks/mods, imports and all the classics!

Dusty Cans *16mm Film Screening*
Dusty Cans is a curated block of 16mm film treasures featuring silent films, early animation, newsreels, musicals, home movies, trailers & other random bits & pieces!
The films are from the Alternative Gallery's film archive which aims to collect, preserve and exhibit important cinematic works, some of which are one-of-a-kind or previously would have been considered lost.

CATATONIC SUNS
Come enjoy live music performances from some of our favorite bands in the area! Opening at 7:30 is acoustic duo Gates & Murf, followed by a fun energetic set from The Big Shaboozie, and ending with our headliner: Catatonic Suns!
Admission for this event is $10, open to all ages.

The Alternative Gallery is hosting another breakdancing battle for a cash prize, this time followed by a blacklight afterparty for all guests and participants!

GRAND OPENING - THE GOLDEN ERA GALLERY
The Alternative Gallery will have our very own satellite gallery on the mezzanine floor of the historic Americus Hotel in Allentown; The Golden Era Gallery! March 29th is the opening night, but all art being displayed will be open to the public to view any time for the following 3 months. Those interested in purchasing a piece will be assisted by Americus Hotel staff to arrange contact with The Alternative Gallery Director.
This event is free and open to everyone!
