The Alternative Gallery presents: Slaps & ThrowUps 2026, our annual Street art show featuring Slap Stickers, and Wheat paste Posters from creators all over the world. The show will feature sticker making stations, trading table, and “Open Walls” on the lower level so bring your stickers an paste ups!

Join us for an evening of Gelli Printing! This workshop will teach you the basics of monoprinting using a gelli plate, stamps, stencils, and acrylic paints.

No prior experience needed and supplies will be provided.

The process of Gelli printing incorporates a gelatin plate (a reusable printing plate) that you use to transfer paint and patterns onto paper. Using a brayer, you spread paint onto the Gelli plate, add stencils or make marks with textured objects, then press your paper onto the plate. Once it’s removed, you’ll be left with some really interesting patterns and textures. There are infinite ways to create Gelli prints with various paints, inks, stencils, and techniques.

Join artist Mikey Denora January 23rd 6-9pm for a night of demonstration and discussion around the history of stained glass. The evening features a live demonstration, a pictorial history, and guidance on pursuing stained glass as an art form.
